Exchanging No for Yes

I had to say no this weekend to something that was a worthy cause.

Something that would've been helpful to someone.

Something I would've been good at.

I said no to this good thing because I've been saying yes to just about everything lately, and I want all those yeses to mean something.

Saying no doesn't come naturally to me.  And it rails against my people-pleasing ways.  But by the grace of God, I'm getting better at it, because sometimes you've got to say no to something good so you can say yes to something better.
